Jin of BTS has expressed his desire to show off a more mature and different side of himself to fans, and, well, he’s doing just that successfully with the release of his concept photos for his upcoming album, Echo. While the first set of concept photos that were released on 22nd April were exciting, as he showcased a new side featuring painted nails. It was the second and third batches that highlighted a darker and punk aesthetic that most definitely reflects the track list and his much-anticipated collaboration with Yena.

It oozes rock-star energy, with the singer draped in a stylish black faux fur coat, and as always, his face card stands out with handsome visuals. These sets of photos showcase just why he is lovingly nicknamed ‘World Wide Handsome’, with a striking face card that requires little in the way of background; the pure focus is on him, allowing him to be the main character in his story. Though the looks aren't entirely shocking, the rebellious spirit sported in both concepts of mullet, nail varnish, and leather trousers is exciting to see what comes next. It also nicely reflects the newfound boldness and perhaps the louder sound we can expect with the album.

The concept schedule follows the recent news of his second solo album, Echo. As always with his music, he's out to show everyday emotions listeners can always relate to. If all that wasn't exciting enough, the vocalist will head out on the road with his first ever solo tour, ‘#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR’. The tour will kick off with a two-night run in South Korea from June 28 to 29 and will continue to cities in Japan, the United States, and Europe.
