From Fire Beats to Water Wars: Reliving Waterbomb 2025 - Manila D2 with Kang Daniel, BamBam, and More!

If there’s one thing Waterbomb Manila proved, it’s that Filipinos don’t just party—they throw full-blown, water-soaked, bass-thumping, adrenaline-pumping festivals of chaos and fun!

Day 2 was absolute madness at the iconic Quirino Grandstand, and we mean that in the best way possible. With the famous Manila heat, an army of water guns, and an unreal lineup of performers, this was THE event of the year. And trust us, if FOMO was hitting you hard for missing Day 1, Day 2 made sure to annihilate every regret with a wave (literally) of music and mayhem.

THE LINEUP? STRAIGHT FIRE. 🔥

Here’s what we think of the acts we got to see!

Picture this: you’re dripping wet, the bass is vibrating through your bones, and suddenly, Gray steps onto the stage—smooth as ever. His beats hit different when you’re half-soaked and surrounded by a sea of hyped-up fans. Now imagine that again, but this time, he’s taking his shirt off. Oop—

Then came Kang Daniel, effortlessly cool, with choreography so sharp it could cut through the water flying everywhere. And when he flashed his abs? Yeah, that was the cherry on top.
Next up, Hyolyn—and let’s be real, when Dally dropped, the entire venue turned into a full-on dance floor. If anyone could make getting blasted with water look elegant, it’s her. She was all smiles, completely unbothered as water guns fired left and right—pure slay!

Then, BamBam. OH. MY. GOD. If Waterbomb was an energy drink, he was the human version of it. He jumped, danced, splashed water on fans—absolute chaos. But the best part? When he made it rain even harder during his set with a rendition of the Filipino favorite, Raining in Manila. We proudly stan a waterbender.

Sunmi came next, serving vocals, visuals, and pure main-character energy. The moment she hit the stage, it was like we were all under a spell. Siren? A moment.

And finally, the Queen herself: JESSI. Just before she took the stage, the sky erupted in fireworks, painting the night in electric colors. It was a breathtaking pause in the high-energy chaos—a reminder to everyone, inside and outside the venue, that sometimes, you just have to let go and ride the wave.

So when Jessi’s first song blasted through the speakers, the entire crowd went WILD. Her confidence, her stage presence, the way she commanded the entire venue? Elite. Kinky questions from fans? She ate them up. An absolute legend! And when Nunu Nana closed out the night as her final song, it was the perfect mic drop moment to end an unforgettable two-day event.

THE ENERGY WILL ALWAYS BE UNMATCHED.

Waterbomb isn’t just about music—it’s about full-throttle fun. Imagine thousands of people, armed with water guns, drenched in seconds, jumping in sync to the beat. Every song felt like a battle cry, every water blast was a declaration of war, and every performer was completely unfazed by the splashes. True warriors.

And us? We were late to the party, but the second we stepped in, we went feral! Water fights? Check. Dance battles? Check. Absolutely shameless fan-girling? Double check. We made up for every lost second—and then some.

By the time the final set ended, the crowd was soaked, breathless, and deliriously happy (and a little bit cold, too!). But Waterbomb Day 2 didn’t just deliver; it raised the bar so high, we’re still floating somewhere in the clouds.

SO… ARE WE DOING THIS AGAIN?

Uh, ABSOLUTELY. The next time Waterbomb Manila hits, we’re showing up early, locking in our waterproof makeup routine, and upgrading to the ultimate water gun arsenal.

Because this wasn’t just a festival—it was the summer blockbuster moment that a country with only two seasons; Summer Part 1 and Summer Part 2, rightfully deserved. 💦🔫
