Starship Entertainment Reveals Boy Group Project "Debut's Plan: NewKids"

Starship Entertainment has announced it's exclusive audition process, known as “Debut’s Plan,” which will begin airing on March 14 to find the final members for its new boy band.

The agency unveiled performance videos of the contestants on Saturday March 8 and their dance challenge clips will drop on the following Monday and on March 13.

The contestants were selected through the “2025 New Kids on the Starship” audition, which took place in the second half of last year.

Starship Entertainment is home to singer K.Will, boy bands Monsta X and Cravity, as well as girl groups IVE and KiiKii, which debuted on Feb. 10.

The new boy band, which is tentatively nicknamed as “NewKids," will be the agency's first boy band since Cravity, which debuted in April 2020. Debut's Plan: NewKids will be Starship's first boy group survival program in 10 years since 2014's No Mercy which debuted Monsta X.

Profile photos of the 21 trainees have been uploaded on to social media and a music video for the song "Balla" has been released on the official YouTube channel.
