J-Hope has been one big, sweet, fluffy dream on his promo for his new single, the gorgeous Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel), released on March 7th. With the next leg of his Hope On Stage tour heading to the US, it was only natural that he made a pit stop at a place where the BTS have always felt at home—The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. There, he performed the track alongside Miguel in a lively and playful performance, marking their first time sharing the stage together.

The Sweet Dreams dance challenge has taken TikTok by storm, with the star dancing alongside numerous K-pop idols, including ATEEZ’s San, SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi and Woozi, and even the group's bodyguard Mr. Lee.

Whether mastered by skilled dancers or simply an attempt for fun, the challenge has become a source of joy to watch. Jimmy Fallon himself couldn't resist joining in—before taking to the stage, Jimmy proceeded to do a fun monologue praising the dancer. In the monologue, Jimmy praises his incredible dancing skills and jokes about wanting to dance like him. As the audience cheered him on, Jimmy started to dance to Sweet Dreams, unaware that J-Hope had sneakily joined in behind him. The playful moment ended with J-Hope slipping away backstage unnoticed through the back curtain. As soon as j-hope stepped onto the stage, the crowd erupted with uncontrollable excitement, with their cheers filling the studio.

Beyond the performance, j-hope sat down for an interview with Jimmy, sharing stories about his drive-thru experience at IN-N-OUT, featured on MBC’s I Live Alone, and opening up about his inspirations behind Sweet Dreams. He also expressed his dream of collaborating with Kendrick Lamar and reflected on the success of his historic 2022 Lollapalooza Chicago headline show. Speaking of his upcoming tour ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ in North America, he teased fans with the promise of “a show that’s uniquely j-hope."

Following the show, J-Hope took to Weverse Live to share even more exciting news—he will be releasing two additional singles. He explained that while an album should typically follow a cohesive theme, these tracks stand alone, making them better suited for individual releases. Known for his artistic versatility, J-Hope hinted that the upcoming songs will have distinct vibes, continuing his trend of pushing musical boundaries. From Hope World to Jack in the Box to Hope on the Street, he has consistently evolved, which makes for a fantastic live experience as showcased in his tour setlist.

The release of the new single comes on the heels of the launch of j-hope’s first-ever solo world tour, 'HOPE ON THE STAGE.’ The tour will feature a total of 31 shows in 15 cities across the world, including Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium shows on April 4 and 6, where he makes history as the first male solo Korean artist to headline a stadium concert in North America.

j-hope’s "Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)” is now available on all streaming platforms worldwide.
