"STRESS" Music Video

In Alivio, CHUNG HA channels her unique artistry into a message of defiance and liberation, blending emotional depth with her bold creativity to resonate with audiences worldwide. The album title, Alivio, means relief in Spanish which captures the profound moment when emotional or physical pain, stress or anxiety begin to fade. With this meaning in mind, CHUNG HA decided to divide the album in two parts. The first part reflects the weight and tension of stress (Tracks 1-3), while the second part celebrates clarity and peace after overcoming it (Tracks 5-8). The title track, "STRESS" serves as the turning point that ties everything together. Through the tracks, the album explores the power of liberation, inviting listeners to shatter their own boundaries, release their constraints, and rediscover their true selves.

The album has a couple of collaborators that CHUNG HA has frequently worked with on the album. Vietnamese-American artist thủy worked on the song “Creepin’” meanwhile Sunmi, a long time friend of CHUNG HA’s is featured on the song “Salty”. “had the chance to work with some amazing people on this album. thủy and I worked together on ‘Hair Down’ remix and while we were finishing that up, she actually sent me the song and lyrics for ‘Creepin’. It just clicked, so we decided to include it. And Sunmi, she’s like a sister to me. We’ve been friends for so long, so working together on ‘Salty’ felt super easy and natural. I’m just really thankful and honored to have worked with such talented women on this album”, CHUNG HA said regarding working with the two artists.

Alivio will be the first time that CHUNG HA has complete creative control over an album, from selecting songs and writing lyrics to shaping the tracklist. What started off as a blank slate turned into a beautiful project that truly represents her musical vision and identity. The album is a true testament of CHUNG HA’s artistry and the commitment she has as she heads into the next chapter of her career.
