[Photo Gallery] Rolling Quartz Gives a Blazing Performance in Helsinki


Rolling Quartz, the all female Korean rock band, brought their electrifying energy to Korjaamo in Helsinki on February 9, delivering a night of powerful performances, stunning covers, and a celebration of rock music that left the audience in awe. From their opening chords to the final encore, the band proved why they are one of the most exciting acts in the rock scene today.

The concert kicked off with an explosive start, setting the tone for what would be a high-octane evening. The band launched into their cover of AC/DC’s Highway to Hell, instantly igniting the crowd. The raw energy and precision with which they performed this classic rock anthem showcased their ability to honor legendary bands while making the song their own.


Rolling Quartz transitioned into their original track Higher, a fan favorite that highlighted their signature blend of hard rock and melodic hooks. The crowd sang along, clearly familiar with every word, and the band’s chemistry on stage was palpable. The first ment (talk segment) allowed the members to connect with the audience, expressing their gratitude for the warm welcome in Helsinki.

A standout moment came with their cover of Dreamcatcher’s GOOD NIGHT. The band’s hard rock reinterpretation of the K-pop track was thrilling and demonstrated their versatility and respect for diverse musical genres. This was followed by member introductions where each member’s charisma shone through, further endearing them to the audience.


The momentum continued with Blaze a track that showcased their powerful vocals and tight instrumentation. A highlight of the concert was Yeongeun’s drum solo, a masterful display of skill and energy that left the audience cheering for more.

The band’s ability to seamlessly blend their original music with iconic covers was on full display with their rendition of Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance. The rock twist on this pop classic was both daring and exhilarating, proving that Rolling Quartz can make any song their own. Another cover that stood out was AZALEA (originally by MAYA) which showcased their ability to infuse emotion and intensity into their performances.


As the night progressed, tracks like Holler, Fearless, and Red Wine, kept the energy levels high, with the band’s stage presence and musicianship never wavering. Arem’s bass solo was another unforgettable moment, highlighting her technical prowess and adding a dynamic layer to the concert.

The encore segment began with a powerful cover of Måneskin’s ZITTI E BUONI followed by a mashup of Blackpink’s Pink Venom and BTS’s MIC Drop.


The emotional peak of the night came with their performance of Helena by My Chemical Romance. The band’s rendition of this emo classic resonated deeply with the audiences. The concert concluded with heartfelt goodbyes, leaving the crowd buzzing with excitement and admiration.
