Megan Thee Stallion, Psy, Lionel Richie, and More to Appear in Apple Tv's Competition Show "KPopped"

Apple TV+ is set to launch its new Kpop themed competition show KPopped, The unique show bridges Western and K-pop music cultures. The eight-episode series will feature iconic artists Psy and Megan Thee Stallion at the helm, promising an electrifying musical mashup.

The innovative concept involves Western music icons reimagining their biggest hits by collaborating with top-tier K-pop idols. Each episode will culminate in spectacular battle performances, with a live Seoul-based audience determining the winner of the best "KPopped" song.

Megan Thee Stallion who recently collaborated with girl group TWICE for the track "Strategy", will not only perform her hit "Savage" but also serve as an executive producer. Music legend Lionel Richie joins the production team, alongside a stellar lineup of executives from CJ ENM and Eureka Productions.

This series builds on Apple TV+'s growing interest in K-pop content, following last year's six-part docuseries K-Pop Idols that explored the lives of artists like Jessi, Cravity, and Blackswan.

Produced by CJ ENM—the company behind the Oscar-winning film Parasite—and Eureka Productions, KPopped represents an exciting fusion of global musical talent and innovative entertainment concepts.
