Rising K-pop boy group ARrC (CHOI HAN, DOHA, HYUNMIN, JIBEEN, KIEN, RIOTO, ANDY) has made their highly anticipated comeback with their 2nd mini album, "nu kidz: out the box," led by title track 'nu kidz.' This release marks a bold evolution of their signature hip-hop-based sound while further defining their distinct musical identity.
At the core of "nu kidz: out the box" is the concept of 'nu kidz' - a statement of breaking free from convention and forging their own unique path. Across five dynamic tracks, ARrC embodies this spirit of freedom and individuality, with the title track "nu kidz" fusing retro analog synthesizers and the group's captivating vocal tones to create a sound that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking.
The music video for the title track brings this concept to life, following ARrC as they move through a chaotic, fast-paced world — confident, unwavering, and unapologetically themselves. A multinational group under Mystic Story, ARrC, whose name stands for "Always Remember the real Connection," brings together members from South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, and Brazil, reflecting their mission to connect with fans worldwide. Ahead of their sophomore record, the group released teasers in five different languages, further emphasising their dedication to authentic engagement with their diverse global audience. Adding to their international momentum, ARrC was recently named Male Rookie Idol of the Year in the Vietnam category of the 2025 Korea First Brand Awards.
ARrC made their official debut on August 19, 2024, with the fable-inspired EP "AR^C" and its title track "S&S (Sour and Sweet)," earning praise for their strong storytelling, musical identity, and polished performances.
Their latest release also marks the group's first comeback with newest member Andy, who won over fans with his positive energy and commanding stage presence on JTBC's survival show Project 7.
