The highly anticipated Matsuri ’25: Japanese Music Experience in Los Angeles has announced an electrifying all-star lineup featuring YOASOBI, Ado, and ATARASHII GAKKO! Hosted by CEIPA, the event, set to take place on March 16, 2025, at the Peacock Theater will showcase some of Japan’s most exciting and globally recognized artists, bringing a fusion of J-pop, rock, and experimental sounds to the U.S. audience.
YOASOBI, known for their anime and literature-inspired hits like "Idol" and "Yoru ni Kakeru," will bring their signature storytelling music to the stage. Ado, the powerhouse vocalist behind viral sensation Usseewa and New Genesis (from One Piece Film: Red), will deliver her high-energy performance. Meanwhile, ATARASHII GAKKO!, the quirky and rebellious J-pop-meets-punk girl group, will add their dynamic stage presence to the mix.
Aside from the live performances by these artists, a press conference hosted by the Japan External Trade Organization, geared towards Japanese and American music industry professionals and media representatives. A portion of the ticket proceeds will be donated to support fire relief and recovery efforts of the recent Los Angeles wildfires.With a growing wave of J-pop artists gaining stronger international recognition, Matsuri ’25 is shaping up to be a must-see event for fans of Japanese music.
