TOSHI (he/they), a solo artist from New York, takes the Anime Weekend Atlanta (AWA) Main Event stage this December 2024. They have a dedicated fan-base and when they stepped on the stage, opening for the highly-anticipated AWA cosplay contest, it was clear that they would be leaving with tons of new fans.

Toshi claimed to be nervous on stage but left it all behind as they let the music wash over them and performed a beautiful set of covers and original songs. While the covers range from emotional to exciting, R&B to Pop, the original song(s), specifically “Homewrecker” let Toshi share a piece of their story with a musicality that brought the crowd alive. More of their music can be heard on their SoundCloud.

One of the warmest feelings is connecting with artists that both inspire and stay humble; Toshi is both of those things and more. Bringing personal stories to the stage allowed anyone in the room to feel how much joy and catharsis music brings to their life, and how important it is to share that with anyone listening.
