UNIS Paints Manila Pink with Their First Fan-Con in the Philippines: UNIS in Curiousland

UNIS in Curiousland Manila fancon brought fans a magical, interactive experience at the New Frontier Theater on October 25, 2024. This marked UNIS's first fanmeet + concert in the Philippines, making it a special occasion for both the group and their supporters. With members from Korea, Japan, and the Philippines, UNIS debuted in early 2024 and showcased their distinct, heartfelt connection with fans through a night filled with hits, covers, and heartwarming moments. Filipino member Gehlee, in particular, shared her gratitude for the support, calling the night “unforgettable”.

Typhoon Kristine? We don’t know her!

Even heavy rains couldn’t keep the Manila crowd from filling the New Frontier Theater with excitement as they gathered to see their idols HYEONJU, NANA, GEHLEE, KOTOKO, YUNHA, ELISIA, YOONA, and SEOWON. Fans brought banners, lightsticks, and colorful outfits, transforming the venue into a Curiousland wonderland of cheering and fandom joy.

In a heartwarming gesture, UNIS also announced that a portion of the event’s proceeds would support local storm relief efforts, underscoring their commitment to giving back.

The lively octet kicked off the evening with their hit single, “Superwoman,” followed by fan favorites like “Dopamine,” “Poppin’,” and “Datin’ Myself.” Host Denise Laurel praised their stunning live vocals, adding extra spark to each top-tier performance. The group also delighted fans—known as “EverAfters”—through interactive games and dance challenges, building a closer connection.

A highlight was their cover of BINI’s “Pantropiko,” met with explosive cheers, accompanied by a fun behind-the-scenes video of Filipino members Gehlee and Elisia teaching others Filipino lyrics.

I hope this dreamlike moment lasts forever. I wish this moment could last forever,”
Gehlee expressed, perfectly capturing the sentiment of the night. The show wrapped up with a high-energy encore of “Whatchu Need,” with fans cheering at their loudest.

Despite the rain outside, everyone left feeling warm and filled with unforgettable memories that embodied the magic of Curiousland.
