2024 Korea Kimchi Festival: Celebrating Culture, Flavor, and Tradition

We are thrilled to announce the largest Korea Kimchi Festival is coming to your town! Organised by W Korea, MBC, and Arirang, and hosted by STOVECAT, the 2024 Korea Kimchi Festival is a global celebration of Korea’s main culinary dish, and dives into the heart of Korean Culture. This year's festival will take place from September 26th to November 23rd, traveling to major cities including Los Angeles (USA), London (UK), Sydney (Australia), and New Delhi (India). It is expected to be an event that is essential for culinary enthusiasts, cultural enthusiasts, and anyone interested in experiencing the rich heritage of Korea's most iconic dish.

The festival’s schedule is as follows:

● Los Angeles, USA: September 26-27, 2024 at Seoul International Park [Completed]

● London, UK: October 12, 2024 at Samsung KX

● Sydney, Australia: November 9, 2024 at Darling Harbour Tumbalong Park

● New Delhi, India: November 23, 2024 at Yashobhoomi

The festival will showcase a variety of engaging activities, including kimchi-making experiences, K-pop random play dance sessions, and Hallyu (Korean Wave) community events.

These interactive experiences are designed to immerse attendees in both traditional and modern aspects of Korean culture. Additionally, the event will be broadcast globally on MBC's "Live Tonight" and Arirang TV, offering an opportunity for audiences worldwide to join in the celebration.

Special Guests

Each city will feature special guests who ensure an unforgettable Korean culture experience for all attendees, the guests for the upcoming London event are:

Becky Lee Smith (Hanguk Hapa) – A passionate promoter of Korean culture in the UK, Becky runs the K-Supper Club and co-founded Hanbok Wave UK, advocating for the recognition of New Malden as London’s Korea Town. She is affectionately known as the "Queen of New Malden" and will be leading events that highlight Korea’s traditional clothing and cuisine.

Jayde – A K-pop dance sensation from Hong Kong with over 900k followers and 100 million video views, Jayde is a global K-pop figure. Her high-energy performances will bring excitement to the festival and inspire fans from all over.

Vachte - Fatemeh Fakhteh Etemadi, known as Vachte, is a talented K-pop inspired singer based in London, spreading her passion for music and performance. Her unique blend of K-pop energy and creativity captivates her growing fanbase, and we are thrilled to have her join us for this exciting festival!

KWD Crew - This multicultural dance group has been lighting up the scene with their K-pop-inspired dance covers for almost 2 years. Each member brings their unique style and energy, making their performances a true celebration of friendship and diversity.

Mikey Espinosa – He is a talented author and artist from London, who brings his love for Korean culture to life! A true Hanbok lover, Mikey shares his passion for Korean traditional clothing and culture with his growing community. His social media journey took off when a TikTok clip of him trying Korean food in local restaurants went viral.

Chloe - An up-and-coming singer and model hailing from London. Chloe has graced the stage with her captivating performances, and she's back for a second time to share her talent with us at the UK edition of the Kimchi Festival.

AST3RIX – A passionate girl group united by their love for dance and K-pop. As a new cover group, They aim to inspire others and share their joy through each step and beat they follow. Their dream is to spread positivity and energy through their dance moves.


The festival will be comprised of many fun highlights, such as Kimchi making workshops, where guests can learn to make authentic kimchi from expert chefs and influencers and experience the tradition and history behind this beloved dish firsthand.

The Korea Kimchi Festival not only celebrates the cultural and culinary significance of kimchi but also serves as a platform for cross-cultural exchange, where visitors from all backgrounds can enjoy and explore Korean food and culture.
