TWICE's Tzuyu will release her solo debut album "abouTZU" and the title track 'Run Away' on September 6.
Tzuyu is the third soloist from TWICE, following Nayeon and Jihyo, with her first solo mini-album 'abouTZU'. As can be inferred from the album name 'abouTZU', which is a combination of the English words 'about' and 'TZUYU', this album is a work that projects 'everything about Tzuyu'.
Starting with the title track 'Run Away', the album includes 'Heartbreak In Heaven (Feat. Peniel of BTOB) 'Lazy Baby (Feat. pH-1),' 'Losing Sleep,' 'One Love,' and 'Fly'.
The title track 'Run Away' is a song that reinterprets the synth-pop and dance genres in a modern way. The four on the floor rhythm that resonates after the piano melody in the intro and the intense synth bass in the chorus touches the heart. Tzuyu sings the message that 'when you start giving your heart after a long wait, you pour out all your love in a way no one has ever seen before' with her delicate vocals and emotional expressions.
JYP Entertainment's representative producer Park Jin-young wrote the lyrics, and top writers including Johnny Simpson, who has worked with global musicians such as Lauv, OneRepublic, and Max, composed the song. The new song 'Run Away' music video not only showcases Tzuyu's dreamlike visuals but also a captivating story that heightens the sense of immersion.
