The melodramatic track is introduced to listeners with the steady sound of multiple piano keys being played before the rush of Woosung’s vocals comes flooding through the speakers. Throughout the song, Woosung sings a longing tune about loss and the lack of willingness to move on. “Day That I Died” comes out just two years after Woosung’s last solo EP MOTH, and one year after The Rose’s last album DUAL.
