CHUNG HA Releases Playful Special Digital Single "Algorithm"

CHUNG HA returns to the spotlight just in time to help fans wrap up the summer with her special digital single, “Algorithm”, out now via More Vision. You can listen to “Algorithm” here and watch the music video here.

After taking some time to focus on her craft, CHUNG HA returns with a new single reminiscent of her K-POP origins. “Algorithm” is produced by frequent collaborators B.E.P and Jeon Goon, the team behind her hit tracks, “Roller Coaster” and “Gotta Go”. New to the mix is FLYT, who is collaborating with her for the first time and has credits on songs with artists such as STAYC. The track is a pop-dance track based on house rhythms, featuring mesmerizing and unique arpeggio synthesizer sounds and distorted piano sounds. The song tells the story of a fated love as if drawn together by a predetermined algorithm. In addition, the song is supported by a music video that helps carry the story along.

The music video has a mix of story-telling visuals in addition to a fun choreography that is projected to be the next short form trend. Throughout the music video, CHUNG HA acts out different professions and is then drawn to a man who plays out in the storyline of the song. The visuals highlight the chemistry between CHUNG HA and the mystery man as they interact with each other’s content through social media and in-person encounters. The cute visuals help fans see a new side of CHUNG HA as she plays into social media trends and reveals her playful nature.
