The channel JBTC has released a teaser for their upcoming female vocal survival show "Girls on Fire."
'Girls on Fire' is JTBC's new audition program that depicts the birth of a 'NEW K-POP female vocal group' by gathering unique vocal talents regardless of genre, age, or nationality.
Comedian Jang Do-yeon will host on the show. Yoon Jong-shin, Gaeko, Sunwoo Jung-ah, Jeong Eunji, Young K, and Kinky were confirmed as producers, drawing attention even before the broadcast.
Some previously debuted contestants that will appear on the show are ESNA, Jung Soyeon of Laboum, Hwang Seyong (søye), Oh Inyoung (7PRINCESS), Kim Dohee (High.D of SONAMOO), and Kim Chaewon (APRIL).
In the first preview, the rules for the first round of the finals, '1 VS 1 head-to-head match', which is a tense fight between participants to become a main vocalist.
In particular, the contestants continued their passionate battle, and producers who saw their performance responded, "They're monsters," "I think this is the first time I've seen them while judging auditions (15 years ago)," and "I've already met the people I'm supposed to meet in the finals." They continue to express their admiration for the outstanding skills of the participants.
"Girls on Fire" broadcast at 10:30PM KST on April 16 to approximately 190 countries and regions, including the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Oceania, and India, through global OTT Rakuten Viki.
