It has been around one whole month since ARMY last heard new music from a
BTS member, so the news came as a delight as BigHit announced leader Kim Namjoon, aka RM, will be releasing his second solo album.

Titled Right Place, Wrong Person is set to have 11 tracks and, in a statement released by BigHit, will “capture some of the universal emotions that we all experience at some point in life, such as the feeling of being an outsider who doesn’t fit in. The album falls within the alternative genre, boasting a rich sound coupled with frank, honest lyrics. Your anticipation and support for RM and his second solo album, “Right Place, Wrong Person,” would be much appreciated.”

Known for his in-depth, intricately well-written, and relatable lyricism, the album follows his first mixtape mono and the 2022 full album release of Indigo, which spawned the gorgeous lead track “Wildflower.”

The rapper created intrigue as the mysterious Instagram account titled rpwprpwprpwp appeared in November 2023, shortly before his enlistment in December of the same year. This led to questions over what his latest project could be and when it would be released. Numerous hints were given by RM, and over the last week, the account had begun to post caption-less pictures. As expected, the sneak peek of the new album artwork could be construed as a work of art that reflects his passion for the art industry.

Pre-orders are from 11 AM, Friday, April 26, 2024 (KST) onward, with the release date on Friday 24th May 1pm KST.
