EPEX, is an eight-member boy group under C9 Entertainment, which debuted in June 2021. Comprising members WISH, KEUM, MU, A-MIN, BAEKSEUNG, AYDEN, YEWANG, and JEFF, the group recently concluded their Bipolar album series with their sixth EP, "Prelude of Anxiety Chapter 2: ‘Can We Surrender?" and the title track 'Full Metal Jacket' released on October 4.

EPEX stands out with their energetic stage presence and a musical focus on the various facets of youth, ranging from the sweet to the tumultuous experiences connecting to fans with relatable music.
In this mini interview, we delve into the cinematic preferences of EPEX, exploring their favorite movie genres and films, and also their thoughts on each other.
When asked to describe the member next to them in one word, the responses revealed a mix of humor, camaraderie, and appreciation. From A-MIN playfully calling BAEKSEUNG a crybaby to KEUM labeling YEWANG as an "orange-human," the members showcased the strong bond they share.
KW: If you could describe the member next to you in one word, what would it be?
A-MIN: BAEKSEUNG is a crybaby.
BAEKSEUNG: AYDEN is very passionate.
AYDEN: It is really hard. I would say JEFF is still a high schooler.
JEFF: I choose the word, artist, for MU.
MU: For KEUM, I choose the word, all-rounder.
KEUM: YEWANG is an orange-human. (In reference to his hair color)
YEWANG: I would say WISH is a solid person.
WISH: A-MIN is like a middle-aged man (ahjussi).
K-pop music videos at times resemble short films. A notable example is EPEX's music video for 'Full Metal Jacket' which draws some inspiration from the 1987 war/action film of the same title. The video seamlessly translates intense themes into a unique narrative that delves into the perils of violence and the erosion of humanity. We were curious about the genres of movies that the EPEX members enjoy individually.
KW: If you can star in any movie genre, what would it be?
YEWANG: I would like to star in an action movie, like Captain America from the movie, "Avengers".
MU: I want to be the main character in a movie about vampires.
A-MIN: I want to star in a crime or thriller movie, like "Sherlock Holmes".
WISH: I want to be like Leonardo DiCaprio from the movie, "Titanic".
KEUM: For me, movies like "Train to Busan".
AYDEN: For me, it would be ghost movies.
JEFF: I choose the movie, "Black Panther".
