K-Pop Legend Sandara Park Returns with First Korean Solo "FESTIVAL"

Sandara Park, from the legendary 2nd generation girl group 2NE1, has finally released her first Korean solo album "SANDARA PARK" with the title track "FESTIVAL".

Debuting in 2009 in YG girl group 2NE1, Sandara enjoyed a successful career in one of the biggest girl groups at the time alongside bandmates CL, Park Bom, and Minzy. The group released some of the biggest hits of the 2nd generation such as "I Am the Best" and "Come Back Home", before disbanding in 2016 with their final song "Goodbye". After the disbandment, Sandara focused on her career in the Philippines and hadn't released any Korean music until 2019, where she appeared as a feature on bandmate Park Bom's solo project "Spring". Now, she's finally back under ABYSS Company.

Her new EP contains a total of 5 tracks:
1. FESTIVAL (Title)
2. PLAY!
3. DARA DARA (Prod. GRAY)
4. T MAP (Prod. Heize)
5. HAPPY ENDING (Prod. SWJA)

The title track "FESTIVAL" is an extremely cheery and upbeat summer song, showcasing Sandara's sunny and bright disposition as she has fun at a festival full of rainbows, bubbles, and oversized lolly pops. Sandara even showed up in a number of lively and cute outfits featuring multiple hair accessories, and bright, fun colours. The song itself is a nod to Uhm Jung Hwa's song "Festival (Life is Beautiful)", with the artist making a cameo in the MV.

Why not put a spring in your step this summer and check it out for yourself?
