After releasing "Dreamers" in collaboration with Fahad Al Kubaisi for the Qatar FIFA World Cup in 2022, Jungkook teased that he would soon be releasing his own solo project. For the groups 2022 FESTA anniversary, he released his previous solo songs "Still With You" (2020) and "My You" (2022) on Spotify, after keeping them exclusively on SoundCloud. Earlier this month, he finally dropped teaser photos for his solo project - setting the fandom aflame with their borderline-scandalous nature.
The MV for "Seven (Feat. Latto)" features Jungkook playfully going through all seven days chasing after his lover, played by Han So Hee, in increasingly comedic ways until they finally make up. American rapper Latto also dropped a verse in an amusing scene of Jungkook's "funeral". An explicit version of the song was also released - fuelling the fandom fire.
In the creation of "Seven (Feat. Latto)", Jungkook actually collaborated with Grammy Award winning producer Andrew Watt, who had praised the song in a preview video. The first performance of the song will take place in New York for the GMA Summer Festival - an exciting start to the promotions!
