Jeon Jungkook, the golden Maknae of BTS, will be releasing his solo debut this July. The official digital single, "Seven," has been announced. The news was released by bighit on June 29th at 12 pm KST. The summer anthem will be released on July 14th at 1 pm.
In the release, Bigit described the track as “Seven is an invigorating summer song that is sure to have you experience the full breadth of Jungkooks charm. We hope that Seven will bring your summer fun to the next level.” The poster highlights the different representations of the number seven, including the small "7" commonly by fans on social media.
Seven is a widely recognized number and is believed to be associated with the group tattoos that were done in June 2021. The title alone is attributed deeply within the fandom the single looks set to be a nostalgic, heartwarming pop number.
This will be Jungkooks first official global solo debut aside from his inspiring track “Dreamers” for the FIFA Qatar world cup OST. His 2021 summer collaboration with Charlie Puth “Left and Right” suited their artistry excellently and is still charting strong today.
