KCON came to Thailand for 2023 and as always, showcased some of the best and newest acts in Kpop to the globe.
This years opening act was XIKERS. Previously known as KQ Fellaz 2, XIKERS are the newest boy group coming from KQ Entertainment after their hit acts Block B and ATEEZ. The members; Minjae, Junmin, Sumin, Jinsik, Hyunwoo, Hunter, Junghoon, Seeun, Yujun and Yechan visited Star Square where they chatted to the MC's, tried Thai food and looked at some fanart. Local fans were charmed by the group - especially with Thai member Hunter speaking the language, who also worked as an MC alongside GOT7's BamBam and (G)I-DLE's Minnie. The group then graced the red carpet with their visuals before taking the stage.
The boys went on to open KCON with a bang by performing their introduction, as well as their title track "Tricky House" from their upcoming mini-album "HOUSE OF TRICKY: Doorbell Ringing"- a lively track with some South Asian influences, and signature KQ explosive choreography. They then paid homage to senior group 2PM by performing a cover of "Heartbeat" all while showcasing their own XIKERS-brand charisma, that we will no doubt be seeing more of.
The group is set to debut on March 30th with "HOUSE OF TRICKY: Doorbell Ringing" - holding the Kpop world in pure anticipation to see what else they've got in store for us.
