AYDEN and JUSTIN have been close for years, having officially met through their label, 5A. Justin first saw AYDEN in a viral video at the time and they quickly became close through working together. JUSTIN pushes AYDEN to do more music and experiment more with his style and sound. Their relationship is one of brotherly love and support that ultimately came together in this single.
When working on “Closure” together, Justin noticed the change in sound that AYDEN was experimenting with. After hearing the single, Justin immediately wanted to write a verse for the song. They were both excited and pleased with the final product and are very interested in hearing what the fans think. For AYDEN, “Closure” signifies something important to him and how he wants to move forward with music, similar to how one wishes to move on from a significant other, past friendship, or friend.
'Closure’ is something we always want from someone in some way, shape, or form. Whether it’s from a family member, a friend, a significant other, someone you are pursuing, etc. It could take a huge toll on your mental health in a lot of scenarios. Sometimes you just feel like you do everything right, and you do everything you possibly can to make someone happy, but it is somehow always underappreciated and never enough. It gets you to that ‘what more could I possibly do?’ question,” AYDEN continues, “I’m the type of person that hates to have my time wasted. I’d much rather someone be straight up with me and tell me not to bother. That’s closure to me. That one thing you needed to hear that allows you to move on to bigger and better things. This song represents a new me. I don’t dwell on shit anymore.”
With 'Closure,' AYDEN will continue exploring his musical tastes and show more sides of himself to listeners.
