Group VIXX has solidified its position as a global idol by confirming its hot popularity around the world.
On the January 5, the agency said, “With the release of the digital single ‘Gonna Be Alright’ at 6 pm on the 3rd, VIXX entered the iTunes chart TOP 10 in 13 countries including the US, Europe, and Asia, creating a sensation globally for their first release in 4 years.
According to the management company, VIXX proved the passionate interest of overseas fans by topping the iTunes KPOP charts in three countries: Spain, the Netherlands, and Italy.
In addition, it entered the iTunes KPOP charts in 10 countries including Australia, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Germany, Canada, Philippines, Turkey, Malaysia, and the United States, as well as the Top 10 of All General Charts in Saudi Arabia and Malaysia, demonstrating brand power as an idol representing KPOP.
Not only that, but in 4 countries including Saudi Arabia, Spain, Philippines, and Malaysia, they were listed in the TOP 10 category of POP charts, showing off their powerful sound source power.
The digital single ‘Gonna Be Alright’ is a medium-tempo R&B song with a message of consolation, featuring a sensuous melody and emotional lyrics. Member Hyuk wrote and composed the lyrics himself, conveying a special meaning to global fans.
