2023 is in full swing in the BTS camp, with lead vocal singer Park Jimin announced in the latest collaboration with Big Bangs Taeyang. The new single ‘Vibe’ will be released 13th of January at 2 pm KST. The Black Label announced today (January 4) via Taeyang's official social media channels.
For Taeyang, this will be his first new music in nearly six years. 2017 saw ‘White Night’ which featured the lead single ‘Darling’ and ‘Tonight’ featuring singer Zico.
Since his debut with BTS in 2013 Jimin has continually declared his respect and admiration for Taeyang. Chapter two is once again highlighting the creativity of the members. 2022 saw an ongoing of released various collaborations, debut singles, and two solo debut albums. July saw Hoseok kickstart the chapter with his critically acclaimed ‘Jack In the Box’ followed by the encapsulating ‘Indigo’ by Namjoon in December.
With the collaboration comes hopes for Jimin's solo album, which Jimin has spoken of. In his New Years' Eve, post Jimin talked of his excitement working on his latest project, “I also started working on making new music for the first time and met many composers.” August and September saw him fly to LA to work with producers such as Hudson Mohawke, and Taylor Hill alongside in-house Hype producers Ghostloop and Pdogg.
