According to JTBC Entertainment's report on November 4, Omega X (Jaehan, Hwichan, Sebin, Hangyeom, Taedong, Jen, Jehyun, Kevin, Jeonghoon, Hyuk, Yechan), who was suspected of being verbally abused and assaulted by their age
ncy's CEO, activities has been suspended for the time being.

Omega X, who returned home after the 2022 world tour "CONNECT: Don't Give Up" on the 25th of last month, was initially scheduled to appear in the Naver Vibe content party room "Omega X Matto the Power to the Hot," but activities have been suspended for two consecutive weeks due to the controversy as well as the Itaewon disaster.

The web drama 'A Shoulder to Cry On' starring the members Jaehan and Yechan has been postponed as well, as the production sent their sympathies toward the situation.

"The production company sincerely hopes that the two actors Kim Jaehan and Shin Yechan will resolve the recent conflict with OMEGA X's agency amicably, and we hope that there will be no further obstacles in the broadcast of 'A Shoulder To Cry On'."

In regard to OMEGA X, Korean journalists contacted the agency several times to hear the position of the agency, but they have so far remained silent.

The conflict between the members and the agency came to the surface with the revelation of a netizen A. A caused a stir by releasing a voice file recording related conversations along with allegations that Omega X was verbally abused at a meal with agency officials during the world tour. In particular, the situation grew out of control as witnesses from overseas fans came up one after another.

In addition to the fact that the CEO of the agency unilaterally canceled the tickets and prevented the members from returning home, the controversy doubled as it was revealed that Omega X members who were staying in the U.S. purchased tickets at their own expense without the agency's support.

Following the incident, the CEO posted on SNS. She posted Kakao Talk conversations with the staff or members, saying, "You have a lie, but I have the truth." The conversations, which seemed to be overusing power, became another factor that aggravated criticism, and the CEO who recognized that, hurriedly deleted the post.

As of now, no further updates on the situation have been announced.
