Meet PSYCHIC FEVER from EXILE TRIBE, the latest supergroup to debut from LDH JAPAN, the talented group joins the ranks of fellow EXILE groups; GENERATIONS,
THE RAMPAGE, FANTASTICS, and BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE.
PSYCHIC FEVER recently released their abbreviated self-titled, ten-track album P.C.F on July 13, 2022, introducing themselves to music lovers worldwide. The title song, "Choose One" is a melodic hip-hop song with a West Coast vibe. The song encourages listeners to follow their goals and dreams.
It has been a long journey for the band, but now they are confident to present "Choose One" to everyone. Check out the music video for "Choose One" here!
The group regularly enthusiastically communicates with fans through various social media channels from TikTok events to YouTube lives. From August 2022 to January 2023, PSYCHIC FEVER will participate in a cultural exchange between Thailand and Japan and move all activities to Thailand for six months.
KW: Congratulations on your album release! How do you feel about PSYCHIC FEVER's debut?
It has been three years since we formed PSYCHIC FEVER, but this is really our start. We are so happy to finally make our debut! It has been our dream, but having the suffix of “from EXILE TRIBE” is also a big responsibility. We will keep working hard so we can show better and greater performance!
KW: What was your first impression of the team members when you first met?
TSURUGI:
I couldn’t picture us together as a group because I knew them, but we’d never danced together.
RYOGA:
My rivals and friends.
REN:
We knew each other but never talked. They were little scary so I couldn’t help but feel pressure.
JIMMY:
I don’t remember at all lol.
KOKORO:
They were all tall and looked like grown ups.
WEESA:
I’m the youngest one, so I remember being surrounded by tall older guys. KOKORO was the first one I met. We met when we were elementary school students. I went and talked to him because I thought we could be good friends.
KW: How long does it usually take to learn choreography?
We spend about three hours rehearsing to memorize the choreography for one track.
KW: What is everyone's favorite song from the album P.C.F?
It has to be "Choose One", the lead track! Many of us love Bitter Sweet too!
KW: Who is the fashion king of PSYCHIC FEVER?
It’s JIMMY!
KW: What kind of movies do you like?
TSURUGI:
Action movies! I love western movies! Denzel Washington is my favorite actor!
RYOGA:
Fast and Furious.
REN:
I like action movies.
JIMMY:
Gangster movies, Love Romance
KOKORO:
Action, Sci-Fi, and Human Drama.
RYUSHIN:
I Love Japanese romance.
WEESA:
I don’t have a specific genre I prefer. Some of my favorites are Trainspotting and Men in Black.
KW: If you weren't an entertainer, what would your career be?
TSURUGI:
A forwarding agent.
RYOGA:
Server at a cafe.
REN:
I love dancing! So I would be a dancer.
JIMMY:
I think I would go into the field of fashion. I’m interested in designing or assisting customers at stores!
KOKORO:
Dance instructor or bartender.
RYUSHIN:
Dancer.
WEESA:
I would’ve been a designer.
KW: What artists would you like to collaborate with?
P.C.F: It’s got to be Stray Kids! They write their own words and music. They also get featured as individuals. It’s so inspiring to see them and I think we would make a great chemistry as contemporaries!
KW: What is a goal you want to achieve as a group?
P.C.F: We want to reach Top of Billboard global 200 Chart!
KW: What is a message you want to tell your fans?
P.C.F: We’ll keep doing our best so that we can keep bringing you our PSYCHIC FEVER entertainment and eventually make our dreams come true, together with you!
