AleXa Wins American Song Contest

K-pop singer AleXa has won NBC's "American Song Contest".

With a total of 710 points, Oklahoma representative AleXa beat out her nearest competition - Colorado's Riker Lynch - by 207 points.

The "American Song Contest" - a spin-off of the long-running Eurovision Song Contest - ran for eight weeks with three separate rounds - saw AleXa winning public votes during each round, despite the professional juries rating her low.
