Woosung of The Rose has released his first full solo album, GENRE on December 8.
The album consists of seven tracks and includes features by BM of KARD, Reddy and Ashley of Ladies Code. Additionally, the album is accompanied by "Brainwave Visualizers" for each track.
The album took two years to complete as Woosung commented in an interview with NME.
“I am so excited to finally release GENRE. I wrote these songs a couple of years back, so I almost feel biased towards them now, having listened to them so many times. Really curious to find out what the listeners will think about my stories from the ages of 25 to 26,” he added. “In some ways, I think that’s why this album is very special to me – I have grown up with it and I matured in creating it. This is a new feeling for me, and I’m not mad at it.”
He previously released the music videos for "Lazy" and "Dimples" earlier this year.
