On September 20, 2021, BTS gave a speech at the United Nations headquarters in New York for the 76th UN General Assembly marking another proud moment for their fans.
BTS was personally introduced by South Korea's President Moon Jae In. Moon appointed BTS as the Presidential Special Envoy for Future Generations and Culture officially back on July 21, 2021.
In their speech, the members told the stories of Youth Today and addressed the issues of climate control, COVID-19 vaccines, and finding strength and hope in unprecedented times. They encourage the youth to share their own stories. The 76th UN General Assembly is the third time BTS spoke for the UN since 2018.
